So many women – beautiful, intelligent, amazing women – (and men, for that matter) suffer from negative body image. The old song says, “everybody loves somebody sometimes…”, but in my experience, it seems more accurate to say that everybody hates her body sometimes! This podcast will explore body image from a historical perspective, and look at the role that industry and the media has played in shaping women’s conceptions of the body beautiful.
